Tokyo Subjective est un carnet de voyage singulier soutenu par une collection d’images. Un voyage intime fait de rencontres, de styles de vies et qui reflète, par effet de miroir, nos propres états d’être (les »over-see people »). Etre l’étranger. Comprendre en ses termes ou comprendre d’une autre manière?
Une comédienne en scène, entourée des images et les sons de Tokyo, accompagnée d’un peintre originaire d’Hiroshima.
On raconte l’histoire d’une vieille grenouille qui avait passé sa vie entière dans puits humide et froid. Un jour, une grenouille qui venait de la mer lui rendit visite.
« D’où viens-tu ? demanda la grenouille du puits
-Du grand océan, répondit la grenouille de la mer
-Il est grand comment ton océan ?
-Il est gigantesque.
-Tu veux dire à peu près le quart de mon puits ?
-Plus grand.
-Plus grand ? Tu veux dire la moitié ?
-Non, encore plus grand.
-Est-il…aussi grand que ce puits ?
-C’est sans comparaison.
-C’est impossible ! il faut que je voie çà de mes propres yeux.»
Elles se mirent toutes deux en route.
Quand la grenouille du puits vit l’océan, ce fut un tel choc que sa tête éclata.

There is a story of an old frog who had spent his entire life in a wet and cold well. One day, a frog from the sea visited him.
» Where are you from ? asked the well frog
-From the great ocean , said the frog from the sea
-How big is your ocean?
-It is huge .
-You mean about a quarter of my well?
-Bigger .
-Bigger ? You mean half ?
-No, even bigger.
-Is it … as big as this well ?
-There is no comparison .
-It’s impossible ! I must see it with my own eyes here. «
They took the way together .
When the well frog saw the ocean, it was such a shock that his head burst.
